Father/ Child Coldwater Trip

Fathers and kids (Kindergarten and up) are welcome to join us as we trek north to Mink Lake and the Coldwater camp in the Boundary waters. We will be seeing some awesome sights, doing some light hiking, playing games, enjoying quality time together.

We will travel on our own (carpooling if you want) and all meet up Friday night in Grand Marias MN (about 7.5 hours from Ankeny) for a meal with the entire group. From there we will be headed to the camp where we will stay for the next 2 nights in cabins (bunkbeds) and eat our meals at the camp. On Saturday we will head out for a day trip adventure (hiking/ sightseeing). After a breakfast on Sunday we will hit the road and head home.

If you want to spend extra time you are encouraged to leave earlier or stay later, but food and lodging are not provided.

Cost is $85 per person and covers Friday and Saturday lodging, Friday dinner, all meals on Saturday, and breakfast Sunday.
